Exploring ways to innovate the bicycle retail model, entrepreneur Nelson Gutierrez brought together three cycling brands into a collaborative venture in Hudson Yards. As the primary investor and the brand most experienced with retail development, Specialized contributed significant design and project management support. I held a unique role in this project, leading communication and facilitating collaboration across senior management and design teams from the three competing brands. Conceived as a premium gathering spot for cycling enthusiasts, the space design includes a cafe area, a fit studio, and a carefully curated product presentation featuring limited-edition custom items.
